projects for Sunday

Laurie has decided to have a ctmh party and reep the benefits of one. Her friends are kind enough to come out and support her. These are the projects they will be doing for it.
This card uses this months stamp of the month called with love. It is right up my ally because I love flowers. It also uses the be true stamp set and is accented with the autumn craft buttons. I have seen a variation on this card that uses the celebrations bouquet stamp set and the boom di ada paper. Very cute!

This page layout is from Reflections and is called Title Topper Photos. Lots of ways to use this page. The paper is called Good Times. I love this twilight, sweet leaf and chocolate combination. So modern. The star struck stamp set looks great with this paper.

I hope Laurie and her friends have a great time on Sunday and I hope her party is a success!!

first project hints

I am pleased to say that I just finished creating the first project for my upcoming event. It is a criss cross card featuring the silhouette paper from the last catalog. I have been meaning to make this kind of card for a long time and I am surprised to say that it is easier then it looks. I am really excited to show everyone how to make it. Unfortunately my husband has switched the scanner to a different computer so I cant show you all what it looks like but take my word it is really cute. Maybe I will take a picture of it tomorrow. Hmmm :)

yeh yeh yeh

I know I keep saying I am coming back and then I don't. Well I thought I would make an appearance today and announce a tentative date to unveil the new catalog and offer some projects. May 3rd. I don't have times or details yet but I promise it will be a good one. I plan to have at least one scrapbook page and two or three cards. I am loving the new catalog. Very summery with some cute paper. Hopefully everyone will just be dying to have a party as I need to get back to selling. I am also thinking of creating a website to showcase extras I have to sell. I need to sell more and hoard less. :)

In my search for inspiration for projects for this upcoming event I came upon a good blog. I love this lady's work and she seems to be all CTMH which is impressive. Sooo here I am making a recommendation again. Check out her blog when you get a chance. http://createwithchristine.blogspot.com

Keep checking back in as I start creating and sharing upcoming projects...

A recommendation if I may...

Okay so I am not going to be able to the crop as I had wanted to. I forgot I am going to have family in town then and we have a baby birthday party to go to as well. Kaleah and all her little friends are growing up :(

Recently I bought the new Close to My Heart book not really expecting much. It had previously been packaged differently and I had seen part of it without being too impressed. It seemed very basic even lower then my own skills. LOL. I decided to buy it anyways as I like to show customers what the book offers even if it isn't what I would use. Much to my surprise, this book is my favorite! The pages are not overdone like I felt that some were in the previous books. I love the variety of layouts and ideas. As with all of the CTMH books, it tells you exactly how to cut the paper to fit your pages. I am in love! I might even show you some of the pages I have created soon if only I could finish the journaling on them. Yucky journaling. That has to be the worst part of scrapbooking. BTW in case you are interested the book is called Reflections.
